Grand Hotel Jönköping has been part of the hotel chain since April 1, 2025. BWH Hotels, perhaps better known as Best Western which consists of personal and unique hotels around the world.
We renovate to create something new!
The new part of our meeting place is expected to be ready in time for the Christmas party premiere in a few weeks. And our grand Grand Opening will take place in early spring 2027.

Work is currently underway to renovate and develop a brand new reception and lounge at the hotel. We look forward to creating a modern, pleasant and welcoming environment where our guests can feel at home from the first moment. The renovation is part of our continued development and we look forward to welcoming you to our new reception and lounge.
The new part of our meeting place is expected to be completed in the fall of 2026.

A lot of exciting things are happening with us right now. Renovations are taking place, new spaces are being created and a cozy meeting place is coming to life. And of course we are very happy to welcome you to the new Grand. We will be open while our new meeting place is growing and doing everything we can to ensure that you as a guest notice our ongoing renovation as little as possible. In the fall of 2026, all the trimmings and fixings will be ready, because then our sparkling Grand Opening will take place. A truly festive event, where we of course hope to meet you. Our journey began in 1905. A fantastic journey that has now been going on for 120 years. An anniversary well worth celebrating! In the magnificent building designed by the then city architect, August Atterström, Jönköpings Teater and we at Grand Hotel still share the excellent location right at Hovrättstorget.
There are a lot of exciting things happening at Grand right now. As of January 15, 2025, we will be part of the hotel family. Meeting Småland Hotel Group with the dynamic duo Svante Stenervik & Martin Baum at the helm. We of course hope that you will join us on our journey into the future, because we promise it will be "a Grand story to tell".
